How We Work
We have excellent project management skills, gained from years of experience of large corporate projects.
We use a structured methodology to ensure we deliver what your organisation really needs, when you need it. This reduces risks and nasty suprises, and allows you better financial control.
A project will normally take the following path, although not all phases are relevant to every project:

1. Feasibility
The project starts with a free workshop to identify your requirements at a high level. This gives us opportunity to get an idea of the project scope, and to estimate likely costs and timescales.
If we are not confident we can deliver what you need, when you need it, we will honestly tell you.

2. Business Study
The importance of this phase should not be underestimated, as this clearly defines the project. Time spent here is often money saved later. It also allows us to provide more accurate costs and timescales.
We need to know your business, gather information, and identify project deliverables and priorities.
The project can be split into phases. The first phase could be to create a simple 1-2 page web site, if you need a web presence quickly. Other pages and content can be added in later phases.
We us the MoSCoW principle to determine priorities, and to prevent you needlessly spending money:
- Must Have - fundamental requirements, without which the project would be useless
- Should Have - important requirements, but for which there are short term alternatives
- Could Have - requirements easily left out of this phase, and can be set aside for future development
- Want to Have - requirements that can wait until time and budget allows

3. Design Process
Once the project plan has been agreed, we start working on the design process. We take the information gathered and start getting creative with it.
For a web design project, we create graphical proposals of the site, and document how it will function.
For graphic projects we prepare design proposals, and collate samples of media to be used.

4. Development
When you have accepted our design proposal we start the development work.
For web projects, the site is constructed. The development site will be available for you to review on our secured customer area.
For graphic projects we create the finished designs, while talking to printers, editors and manufacturers to ensure we are working to their tolerances and formats.

5. Review and Approval
When the deliverables have been developed, we ask you to test, review and proof them to ensure you are completely satisfied.
It is often useful to enlist the help of people outside the project team to assist in this process.
Once you formally approve the work we start to implement it.

6. Implementation
For web projects, we upload the site to the production hosting server, so it becomes accessible via your registered domain name. We also submit it to the major search engines and directories.
For design projects, we send the approved designs to be printed, published or produced, and monitor the progress.

7. Post Implementation
We don't stop supporting you once the project is finished. Once we know your business, we like to build a lasting relationship. We can keep you informed of any new ideas, products, trends or developments that could further enhance your business.
For web projects we regularly review the statistics for your site, and advise on how it is being utilised.
For design projects we are always available to update your designs and literature, or produce more.
